There are many good books about wireless hacking but there never seems to be just one that shows it all. One author may excel at explaining one thing while another at explaining something else.

2…Step by Step Backtrack 5 and Wireless Hacking Basics Not long ago this book would have been at the top of the list for newbies to read, but with Backtrack no longer supported, a Kali Linux book is much more relevant. Not to say Backtrack 5 can not be still used to penetration test wireless, it can and does everything Kali can. Especially with all the Backtrack tutorials and information floating around out there this is still a good read.
 
3…Hacking Exposed 7: Network Security Secrets & Solutions Here is a classic that been around since 1999, the current edition was updated in 2012.
 
 
 
4…BackTrack 5 Wireless Penetration Testing Beginner’s Guide Another book that’s been around awhile.
