More often than not you’ll need to have a kernel with the ndrpaiwsper rolled into it, if you don’t understand how to roll your own kernel don’t even attempt it, use another linux live cd, try Trinity.HTH

Does this work? I’ve looked all over and I can’t find anyihtng about using the iphone as a wireless adapter. Everything is geared toward tethering a data connection. PDAnet works I guess, but I’m trying to get my Ubuntu machine online to download the wireless adapter drivers. Ironic. I do not have any data on my iPhone, just wifi. I can’t believe no one has made a clear set of instructions for this. Please reply to reassure me that this method is tested and true before I go and attempt it.
