Real-Debrid seems to be currently filtering videos by filenames.
Users are reporting “infringing file” errors on these files, even if the same content works fine when the filename uses different tags such as BluRay, REMUX, or custom names.

The message states, “File was removed from debrid service due to copyright infringement.”
This appears to be a proactive anti-piracy measure by Real-Debrid and not just standard DMCA takedowns.
It mainly hits WEB-DL/WEBRip releases (very common for TV shows and many movies).
Anything tagged with the following formats is likely to get screened or refused outright:
File Formats Currently Being Blocked by Real-Debrid
- WEB-DL
- WEBRip (or just plain WEB)
- AMZN
- CR
The filtering is based on the filename, not the actual file content. Renaming sometimes helps, but not always.
If you’re running into this, many users are testing workarounds like the following:
Unconfirmed User Reported Workarounds
- Trying other debrid services (some usrs report similar issues also).
- Using different release names.
- Custom filename tools or addons that rename on the fly.
Alternative Debrid Services
- TorBox is a popular option when switching from Real-Debrid.
- Premiumize is another option that cost a bit more but includes useful extras like cloud storage.
- AllDebrid is a low cost alternative.
This is still a developing story, and this page will be updated with any new information.

I have noticed shows that weren’t working are starting to again, Real‑Debrid quietly relaxed some of the aggressive filtering around the last 48–72 hours, RD started allowing more WEB‑DL and WEBRip releases to cache again.
Not fully back to normal but enough that: TV episodes are returning
1080p/2160p links are showing again, Fewer “skipped / removed” messages
Any update on this yet?
Although available links have been limited, Real Debrid is still working for some and not so well for others. The only way to know is to try, and if you are having issues after the filtering changes, it’s time to find an alternative service.
