Best Amazon Fire TV Stick Bluetooth Keyboard 2018
The Amazon Fire TV Stick is a nice addition to any home with tons of apps and streaming services.

The remote control that comes with the Fire Stick works OK but can be a pain to use with the on-screen keyboard.

Yes, Alexa can be used but is not always accurate, creating times when it is easier to simply type than speak into the mic.

With that in mind, here is our picks for the best Bluetooth keyboards to use with the Amazon Fire TV Stick.

As always, be sure to read the reviews on Amazon or elsewhere to be sure a unit is a good fit for you.

Most will stay with the default remote, but a Bluetooth keyboard is a low-cost fix that makes things much easier.

If you find the default Fire Stick on-screen keyboard annoying, the easy answer to this is a mini keyboard.

The above units are simple; some of the ones we have found work well, with no doubt many more available.

I also Tried my Zagg Slimbook it is also Compatible with my fire cube 4K second generation . It works well but you have to play with it to find various functions . It was quite a challenge but now I like it. I bought the zagg slim book for my iPad Pro 10.5 originally.

I’m very curious, has anyone been able to actually make a built-in touch-pad on any wireless keyboard (connected via bluetooth) perform as a real mouse on any Amazon Fire Sticks, particularly version 2 of the fire sticks? That seems to be quite a mystery, whether or not such touch-pads can be used to (1) move the cursor around on the screen, and (2) to actually “click on” (or select) any hyperlinks shown on the screen.

Yes it can. I own an Auvipal and I use the built-in touch pad now and again and hasn’t given me any problems.

So my 2¢ worth: the fire stick / (cube 2nd gen we have) doesn’t really need a trackpad so I glued a cover over ours to prevent unwanted selecting. PONYBRO is what the brand is called on Amazon, and a pretty good choice for the following buttons it has that I found very useful in navigating the fire cube:
home, d-pad w/ ok, menu (3 lines), back (curved arrow), play/pause.
The battery isn’t as long lasting as the Rii i4 but on it I didn’t like the edge buttons and lack of back arrow.
Still looking for the ideal keyboard. These really are too small and logitech k400 or k830 is too big. Somewhere between with bluetooth and usb dongle (which the Rii i4 was nice feature) would be awesome.
